What is KP HealthConnect Essentials?

KP HealthConnect Essentials (HCE) is a program designed to help you use KP HealthConnect more efficiently. Courses are facilitated by SCPMG physicians and targeted to your practice. 97% of the 6,000 graduates indicate that they would recommend the program to other physicians and reported saving 10 minutes each hour. Advanced Practitioners (Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Midwives) are welcomed to join this program in addition to all SCPMG physicians. For questions, please email HCE@kp.org

Our Programs

Virtual HCE, HCE Live and HCE On-Demand Video Library are available and designed exclusively for remote settings to bring the spirit of the program to you while maintaining safety and physical distancing requirements. These sessions are taught by our SCPMG Physicians Presenters with real time peer-to-peer support led by your local Physician Champions and supported by Workflow Consultants and LTS Site Specialists. Virtual HCE focuses on popular topics from the 3-Day Offsite program, some of which are dedicated to specialty specific content. Sessions are CME approved. Clinicians are responsible for their time using ET/EL/VAC/WOP.

HCE Live offers 1-hour, bite-sized hands-on training that is designed to improve your KP HealthConnect skills and efficiency from the comfort of your home or office, with focused topics based on the most popular and in demand subjects from both the 3-Day and Virtual HCE programs.

HCE On-Demand Video Library houses self-learning videos associated with the KP HealthConnect Essentials content along with supporting documentation for each topic and video.
